Providence Recovery Residence Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Providence Recovery Community is looking for a Recovery Residence Manager for Providence Recovery Community for men located in Craig, Colorado. The right candidate must have a passion for helping others recover from a substance abuse and willingness to prepare them to live a rewarding life free of the bondage of addiction. The Providence Recovery Community Residence Manager is a live-in position with the responsibility of managing and overseeing Providence Recovery Community while working in partnership with the Assistant Residence Manager and the Providence Recovery Program Director. This individual will oversee operations which includes screening and registering residents, tracking residents progress in regards to adhering to Providence Recovery Community House Rules, providing weekly progress meetings with residents, supporting residents to develop and engage in a personalized recovery plan, administering UA’s regularly, enlisting and organizing community volunteers, and co-facilitate weekly community meetings. Willingness to transport (or arrange transportation for) residents to local recovery meetings including AA, NA, Celebrate Recovery, SEVEN or any other support services.
REQUIREMENTS:
Male with at least one year of sustained sobriety
Detailed oriented with good leadership skills and passion for helping others recover from SUD
Actively engaged in their own recovery
Live at Mens Recovery Community
Spend evening and night at community at least 5 nights a week
Basic computer skills
Basic skills for receiving rent money, writing receipts and keeping track of Community finances
COMPENSATION:
Free lodging (rent), utilities and the possibility of a stipend based on occupancy. This individual can be employed elsewhere however if interested the Providence Recovery Community Residence House Manager will be assisted to apply for a job as a Peer Support Specialist. This position pays $17/hr and provides benefits including health insurance and paid time off.
